Biography

Garvin joined the School of Medicine Columbia in August 2024. Previously she served as an executive assistant at Benedict College and eight years as an administrative assistant at the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. In her role as administrative coordinator, she brings her positive "can do" attitude and her natural ability to organize people and improve processes. She is responsible for scheduling, overseeing/organizing committee meetings, VA credentialing, NBME test coordination, and much more.  In her free time she is a semiprofessional actress and singer.
