Annika Phillips serves as the Stage Manager for the Koger Center for the Arts where she coordinates back of house needs with Koger Center leadership to deliver professional theatre and live entertainment to the Columbia community and beyond.

Annika graduated from Winthrop University with her B.A. in Theatre and Dance with concentrations in Stage Management and Stage Carpentry and a minor in Humanities. During this time she worked and volunteered in multiple leadership positions, worked as a Scenic Shop Teaching Assistant for 3 years, served as Production Assistant for Ballet Greenville, and was a stagehand for IATSE locals 322 and 347 before coming to Koger full-time. Trustus Theatre has also provided her the opportunity to work as an on-call Box Office Manager for performances in her spare time.

Additional Stage Management credits include: Kiss Me Kate ; Spamalot ; She Loves Me ( Town Theatre), Aristocats ; A Christmas Carol (Columbia Children’s Theatre), Therapy (NiA Theatre Company), Show of Hands (Children’s Theatre of Charlotte), Need A Little Christmas (Laura Little Theatricals).

Professional stage management has been a part of Annika’s life for the past 8 years and the arts has been a part of her life since childhood. She is excited to continue to work in and for the arts community at Koger Center.
