Students at USC Salkehatchie may choose education as an intended major but will not be formally accepted into the program until they have met the following requirements:
- Completed all GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIRED CLASSES
- Completed 60 semester hours at semester of application
- Earned a grade of “C” or better on ENGL 101, ENGL 102 & COMM requirements
- Earned a passing scores on all 3 parts of the Praxis Core Exam or earned exemptible scores on the ACT or SAT
- Earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75
- Earned clearances on SLED background check and the National Sex Offender Registry
- Obtained a TB test showing that you are free of active TB
