The Level One course is available to all Undergraduate Academic Advisors. UAAs may
be Level One certified after completing the online training component and experiential
learning requirements.

Level One Experiential Learning
In order to complete Level One Certification, you must complete the Experiential component
which includes the items below:
Have 50 academic advising appointments since beginning advising at USC
Use EAB Navigate to enter appointment notes and summarize meetings with students.
Use Degree Works to enter advised course plan and other curricular information
Complete the 'GPA Calculations' exercise
Level One Rewards
Advisors who successfully complete both components of Level One receive a Certificate of Completion and a reward of a one-year membership to the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).
