MLK Social Justice Awards

The Social Justice Awards were created to recognize individuals who have actively exemplified the philosophies of Dr. King through random, strategic or ongoing acts of community service, social justice or racial reconciliation. Social justice means ensuring individuals and groups receive fair treatment and share equally in the benefits of society.

A subcommittee of the MLK Committee will evaluate nominations and applications, select finalists, and recommend one award winner in each category for approval by the MLK Committee. Applications are due by Thursday, October 31, 2024. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Access and Opportunity at OOAOeducation@mailbox.sc.edu
