How do I become a pharmacist?

Practicing pharmacy requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Begin the Pharm.D. program as early as your junior year of college and finish in six years. Gain a head start on your foundational coursework as a Pre-Pharmacy student at USC.

There are multiple routes to earn acceptance into the Doctor of Pharmacy program — apply after completing two years of undergraduate prerequisites or learn about our early assurance pathway for exceptional high school students. You can also apply to the Pharm.D. program after completing a four-year bachelor's degree.
