Students, Faculty and Staff are invited to a festive kickoff of the winter holidays! Turn on the lights while enjoying cookies and hot cocoa with the Dean and colleagues! Thursday, December 2nd 5-6 p.m. in the Garden Courtyard at the School of Medicine Columbia.

2021 White Coat Ceremony

The MD Classes of 2024 and 2025 had their White Coat ceremonies on October 1, 2021 at 3 PM and 5:30 PM, respectively, at Segra Park. School of Medicine Columbia alumnae Drs. Theresa Mills-Floyd ('99) and Lisa Oie ('95) delivered the addresses, after which the students recited the Pledge of Commitment, dedicating their lives to the service of humanity.

UofSC SOMC Hooding Ceremonies Video now available

On May 7, 2021, we celebrated the amazing accomplishments of our Class of 2021 graduates at the hooding ceremonies for our Graduate and Medical Student Programs. Given the unprecedented circumstances that accompanied this year's commencement, every aspect of these events required new approaches that ensured a safe environment while truly highlighting the accomplishments of our graduates.
