Outstanding Doctoral Student Teaching Award

The Outstanding Doctoral Student Teaching Award recognizes an exemplary doctoral student in the College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management for their outstanding contributions and academic achievements in the area of teaching.

Nominees must be current Ph.D. students in good standing (full- or part-time) and be teaching in the college. Winners receive a certificate and a financial award in the form of student financial aid.

Award Criteria

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in the graduate program of enrollment
  • Evidence of ability to effectively teach a variety of courses
  • A strong record of teaching
