Stockroom

The College of Arts and Science Stockroom, located in the John M. Palms Graduate Science Research Center (GSRC), is a self-service facility that retails stock items in the general categories of chemicals, glassware, lab supplies, testing supplies, office supplies, and cylinder gases. Purchases may be charged to an active UofSC budget with an identified Staff/Faculty Member's or PI's (Principal Investigator) authorization. Items cannot be sold to individuals or those outside of the University of South Carolina. The CAS Stockroom maintains an inventory of various items and strives to stock quality products at competitive prices to ensure the support of various research and testing efforts.

The College of Arts and Science Stockroom also manages a Shipping and Receiving area that can accommodate most ground and freight transport vehicles. The CAS Stockroom Shipping and Receiving area strives to receive goods according to the established protocol and procedures, ensuring that shipments are disbursed to the recipient in a timely and efficient manner and that incoming and outgoing shipments are received in an acceptable condition.
