Expand all Review Your Benefits Changes for 2025
With open enrollment now closed, please log in to MyBenefits to review your changes effective January 1, 2025. If you spot any errors, contact
your campus Benefits office immediately.
Deadline for MSA expenses approaching
Participants in Medical Spending Accounts (MSA) and Limited-use MSAs must incur expenses
by December 31, 2024, and submit claims by March 31, 2025. Up to $640 in unused funds
can be carried over into 2025, but any amount over $640 will be forfeited after the
reimbursement deadline.
Participants can use their ASIFlex Card or pay out of pocket and then submit a claim
for reimbursement. A full list of eligible expenses is available online .
Streamline Your Tax Forms
Employees who provide electronic consent can view, save, and print their forms annually.
They must separately consent to receive Form 1095-C and Form W-2 electronically. Without
consent, these forms will be mailed to their permanent address but remain viewable
online. Consent remains valid until withdrawn in PeopleSoft, indicated by a green
check mark.
The deadline to complete the electronic consent is Friday, January 17, 2025.
Here is how it works:
STEP 1: Log into the HR/Payroll system at hcm.ps.sc.edu.
When you sign into the system, you will arrive at a web page that displays the Employee
Self Service options (or “tiles”): Payroll, Personal Details, Benefit Details, USC
Profile, Talent Profile, COVID-19 and Employee-facing registry conte.
STEP 2: Provide your consent to receive Form 1095-C (health care coverage) electronically.
· Select the Benefit Details tile.
· Click on “Form 1095-C Consent” and read the disclaimer. If you would like to
proceed, check the box beside “I consent to receive Form 1095-C electronically”.

USC Division of Human Resources and TIAA joined forces with the student loan experts
at Savi to help you navigate the complexities of federal student loan programs. Lower
your monthly student loan payment and work toward loan forgiveness with these resources
and webinars on the Perks & Discounts web page.
Cocky Cards
A quick and simple way to recognize your colleagues and peers is to send a Cocky Card to express your thanks, appreciation, congratulations or to send a birthday greeting.
The Human Resources’ web page provides five automated e-cards you can use to send
a message.
403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity Plan
USC and Human Resources are committed to providing the most competitive retirement
benefits for employees. CAPTRUST, an independent retirement plan consultant, was contacted to assist HR in identifying ways
to enhance the 403(b) Plan relative to appropriate peer university benchmarks. If
you are a USC employee who participates in the 403(b) Plan, you received a Transition Guide with detailed explanations of these enhancements on the 403(b) Plan.
