Course Description
This course will utilize reading materials, case studies, and hospital risk management scenarios. Through these materials, students will learn to identify legal, ethical, administrative, compliance, risk management and patient safety issues and reach resolutions for the problems presented. Students will also learn how risk management has changed since the 1998 IOM Report and how the changes impact patients and providers.Prerequisite: C or better in LAWH 700 and LAWH 701.GC: 12/09/2024.
